Acceptable Use Policy
Effective Date: December 11, 2025
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) explains what you can and cannot do with your Fullsurf account. It exists to protect you, other customers, and the stability and reputation of our service. This AUP is part of, and works together with, our Terms of Use.
1. No Spam or Abuse
You may not use Fullsurf to send:
- Unsolicited bulk email (“spam”)
- Phishing messages or attempts to obtain passwords, financial details, or other sensitive data
- Fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading emails
We may rate-limit, temporarily block, or suspend accounts that show patterns consistent with spam or abuse.
2. Prohibited Content
You may not use the Service to store, transmit, or distribute content that:
- Is illegal under applicable law
- Infringes on intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of third parties
- Contains or distributes malware, viruses, or other harmful code
- Promotes violence, terrorism, or explicit threats of harm
- Is primarily intended to harass, abuse, or bully individuals or groups
3. Security & Network Use
You may not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any accounts, systems, or data
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our infrastructure without permission
- Use the Service in a way that disrupts or overloads our systems or other users
- Share your login credentials in a way that puts your account or others at risk
4. Sending Limits & Fair Use
Fullsurf is designed for normal personal and small-business email usage, not as a bulk mailing or mass marketing platform. We may apply reasonable sending limits or throttle sending rates to protect deliverability and service stability.
If you need higher volumes (for example, newsletters or transactional mail), please contact us to discuss appropriate options.
5. Reporting Abuse
If you believe a Fullsurf account is being used to send spam or abusive content, or is otherwise violating this AUP, please contact us at support@fullsurf.com with as much detail as possible (including message headers if available).
6. Enforcement
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP. If we believe that a violation has occurred, we may take one or more of the following actions, depending on severity:
- Issue a warning and request corrective action
- Temporarily suspend sending or receiving capabilities
- Limit account functionality or sending rates
- Terminate the account in serious or repeated cases
Where appropriate and legally required, we may cooperate with law enforcement or other authorities in connection with misuse of the Service.
7. Changes to This AUP
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated AUP.
